The Granite State ATV Association is officially registered as a nonprofit corporation in the State of New Hampshire. Membership is open to all off highway wheeled vehicle enthusiasts for $3.00 individual and $5.00 family (but please include all member names). One of the first needs for the GSATVA is to secure insurance for the association and wheeled vehicle clubs in New Hampshire. Another important and time critical objective is to assure a presence at the committee established through HB 717, signed into law July 13.2001. The committee is to make recommendations regarding policy concerning state-operated trails for all terrain vehicles. Already in effect through the law as of July 1, 2001, is an increase in OHRV registrations for snow traveling vehicles, both instate and out of state ($45 and $60 respectively). There is NO Change to ATV and trail motorcycle rates, but the intent of the original legislation is to determine if the state should continue to provide recreational opportunities for ATV's and trail motorcycles on state lands. The GSATVA is determined to have a presence and make every effort possible to assure the continuation of development of trails for wheeled vehicles in NH. All enthusiasts should join to have one voice for OHV recreation in NH.
